The Massachusetts Department of Revenue administers the tax laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, oversees the Child Support Enforcement and Local Services divisions, and the Underground Storage Tank program. The Child Support Enforcement Division enforces the financial responsibilities of parents. The division assists parents in establishing paternity and child support orders, collecting child support and asking courts for support adjustments. The Local Services Division assists Massachusetts cities and towns achieve sound and efficient fiscal management through technical assistance, training and oversight.
